To request an urgent appointment or routine appointment (Monday to Friday)

• We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm.
• Phone lines are open from 08:30 till 06:30 please call the surgery to book an appointment between 8:30AM and 9:30AM for morning appointments or between 1:00PM and 2:00PM for afternoon/evening appointments.
• If you can’t get an appointment, Call NHS 111 for slots are available which has been taken from the surgery.

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:

• by phone
• face to face at the surgery
• on a video call
• online consultation

Appointments by phone, video call can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

• Telephone the surgery as soon as possible on 0208 427 7172, and at least 30 minutes before your appointment time

Cancellations notified less than 30 minutes before the appointment time will be recorded as failure to attend (DNA).

Repeated failure to attend booked appointments is a significant waste of NHS resources.

Home visits

If you are too ill to come to the surgery you may need to request a home visits, but please remember these are intended for the housebound, bed-bound, terminally ill patients or those whose condition will deteriorate with travel.

If you feel too ill to wait in the waiting room please let the receptionist know and we can arrange for you to sit in another area.

The best care can often be given at the surgery, but If you still think you need a home visit telephone the surgery preferably before 10:30am. The receptionist will need to take some details about what is wrong so that more urgent calls can be given priority.

If you need help when we are closed

If the situation is an emergency or life threatening, dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.

For urgent medical advice between 6.30pm and 8.30am weekdays, or during weekends and Bank Holidays, use NHS 111.

For children under 5 phone 111.

For people aged 5 and over go to the 111.nhs.uk website.
